About the Cheyenne Cowboy Symposium & Celebration
We
have strong connections to our roots, a deep sense of place and loyalty
to the values and strengths that our ancestors had when they settled
this country.
The
American Cowboy Culture Association Inc.(ACCA), dedicated to these beliefs,
strives to keep them strong through the preservation and perpetuation
of Cowboy culture and heritage.
In
association with the ACCA and the Cheyenne Family YMCA, this Symposium
and Celebration will feature Cowboy poets and poems, story tellers, musicians,
round table discussions of pioneer life, western workshops and even some
"how-to" classes in yodeling.
The
Cheyenne Cowboy Symposium and Celebration is a non-profit organization
sponsored by the Cheyenne Family YMCA and Writer's Voice. Contributions
can be made to the organization as a non-taxable 501C(3) IRS Tax Exempt
Status.
Our Mission Statement
The
mission of the Cheyenne Cowboy Symposium Celebration is to preserve, interpret,
and promote western heritage and history as it pertains to the cowboy
culture and ranching environment. Its members shall serve as ambassadors
of knowledge and skill to aid in the dissemination of knowledge from generation
to generation.
