I have ranched for a good many years in the Nebraska Sandhills. Twice
a month I write a newspaper column, which runs in two different
publications and am an occasional contributor to magazines. I have
been entertaining for various organizations for around ten years
and am currently on the Nebraska Arts Council's touring program.
I am an organizer and chairman of the Nebraska Cowboy Poetry Gathering
and Old West Days. My original poetry comes from my personal experiences
and a pretty good imagination. I have a book of poetry "So
Many Winters", which is in its second printing.
