Monty L. Hopkins, Rodeo Announcer

Monty, born in 1938 has been married for over 30 years to the former Polly
Keeline of Douglas-Gillette Wyoming. Their marriage was produced two
grown sons and three grandchildren.
He is the owner of the Walking Cane Ranch which is located between
La Grange, Wyoming and Harrisburg, Nebraska. All grass and irrigated
land on the ranch is leased.
Monty is an active real estate broker, licensed in both Nebraska and
Wyoming, as well as being a partner in Bear Mountain Land, LLC located
in La Grange, Wyoming. Among his other activities he buys cattle for
several feeders in Kansas.
Monty is a well known rodeo announcer in a five state area. At one
time or another he has announced the National High School Finals,
National Collegiate Finals, and about every other rodeo and punkin
rollin' in the country.
