Jane Morton, Teacher - Cowboy Poet - Historian

Jane Morton tells stories of her family and their ranch in COlorado thorugh her poetry of the West. She has performed at Elko and other major gatherings throughout the West. He award-winning book, "Cowboy Poetry, Turning to Face the Wind", has garnered four major awards: The Will ROgers Medallion Award from the Academy of Western Artists; the GLYPH Award from The Arizona Booksellers; WILLA Finalist from Women Writing the West and the Fred Olds Poetry Award from Westerners International.
