Jaime Parker-Frank, Cowboy Singer

Like the Meadowlark, Jaime Parker-Frank's voice is clear and lyrical. Yet like the Mockingbird, her music brings forth a variety of sounds. A California native, Jamie has found a new home in Wyoming and Cowboy Music. Vocally she weaves jazz, swing, gospel, folk, and even classical strains into a unique Western style. Having kicked around the West, Jamie has lived in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, an Indian reservation, and small lumber towns, from sea shore cities to the mountains and high deserts. As a song writer, she tells stories that are at once hers and ours.

A versatile singer, Jamie has performed in clubs, churches, community and civic events, and with groups like the New Levee Serenanders and the renowned Pacific Chorale and L.A. Camarata.

After performing at the 2002 Cheyenne Cowboy Symposium and Celebration, Jamie feels she has found a new musical home. Entertainers like Janet McBride and Wyoming's Praire Grass agree.
