Georgie Sicking, Cowboy Poet, Cowgirl

Georgie calls herself a natural cowgirl. She has raised and driven cattle, raised crops and kids and written cowboy poetry.
She has won the Gail Gardner Working Cowboy Poet Award from the Arizona
Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Prescott and she was in the top ten in
the Academy of Western Artists for Cowgirl Poets for 2003. She has
a plaque from the Nevada Cattlemen's Association for "100,000
Miles on Horseback." Her last cattle round-up was 2002, during
her 81 years.
