Tommy Wiggins

Tommy was born in Illinois and schooled in Missouri and Arizona. After returning from the Navy, in WWII, he attended the University of Arizona, Majoring in Performing Arts and Music. He worked as a solo performer in Montana, Wyoming and Utah and was a disc jockey at KWBW in Kansas. He was also a club manager and hosted his own television show in Texas.

He retired from his General Maintenance business in 1992, moved back to his home in Arizona, joined "Sons of the Golden West" as a bass singer and Master of Ceremonies for the group, and performed at the Western Music Association yearly "Festival of the West."

With the death of long time friend, Paul Shilling, the "Sons" disbanded. Tommy struck out on this own again and for five years was Master of Ceremonies at the Rex Allen Days Celebration in Wilcox, Arizona and the Academy of Western Artists in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Along the way, TOmmy took time out for various jobs, as Quality Control Manager for Fender Musical INstruments, advertising Manager for Dobro Guitars, Manager of the Acoustic division and Designer for Mosrite Guitars.
