Wally Bazen

Wally Bazen was born and raised on a diversified cattle-hog-crop operation in Northeast Nebraska. During his lifetime, the has served as Farm and Ranch Director of Radio Station KVSH in Valentine, Nebraska, when he conducted numerous interviews with local, regional and national farmers and ranchers and agriculture related officials. Prior to his retirement, his broadcasting career spanned 46 years.
He plays acoustic guitar and sings traditional cowboy music. He's been performing since he was nine years old. He was the last entertainer to conduct a live daily program of cowboy and country songs on radio station, WJAG, Norfolk, Nebraska in the mid 1950s.
He was inducted into America's Old TIme Country Music Hall of Fame in Anita, Iowa in 2001.
